The Samsung Galaxy series is set to return next year with yet another exciting new model: the S11. Undoubtedly one of the most widely anticipated smartphones, the S11 is expected to amaze tech enthusiasts and cynics alike with its brand new design and features.
Here’s what we can expect from the soon-to-be-launched S11.
Samsung typically announces the latest models in the Galaxy range before the World Mobile Congress. This means that we can expect the S11 to be launched somewhere along mid February. Rumors have suggested that the launch event will take place on February 18th, whereas the phone will be released for sale in early March.
Given that Samsung releases its phones in yearly batches and launched Galaxy S10 earlier this year in February as well, there’s little reason to doubt that the second month of 2020 will hold some exciting news. While we’re still waiting to hear an actual launch date, our bet is on the days in min February.
The Galaxy series doesn’t come cheap. Galaxy S10 and its siblings launched this year cost between $899 and $1,149 when they were first released. This means that the Samsung Galaxy S11 will be priced from at least $899 as well or possibly more since the S10 was more expensive than S9.
Buyers should be prepared to spend a minimum of $900 for the new S11 to be launched next year!
The new edition of the Galaxy series is likely to have a few design changes as well. While it’s expected to have the same metal and glass built as the previous generation, it’s also speculated to have a centralized front punch hole camera. The camera module is also expected to be bigger and bolder instead of being minimalized.
Coming to the display of the S11, expect the phone’s screen to be absolutely gorgeous. We’re talking dual-edge designs and flagship screens. Samsung is famous for including AMOLED display screens in its range, and we expect no less from the upcoming gadget.
Other sources have suggested that the S11 will have a narrower bezel but won’t have the waterfall (curved) screens as some of the previous models.
We’ll have to wait till 2020 to learn more about what the tech giant has in store for us with their latest phone. The S11 has definitely got us excited and we’re sure it’ll be an instant hit among tech lovers and Samsung loyalists.
